Sisters Prue, Piper and Phoebe are three
quintessentially modern young women: beautiful,
independent and intelligent. But there's something
different about these sisters, something extra
special that may not be apparent when you first
meet them: each woman has her own unique
supernatural power.
It wasn't always so. Their lives were much like
those of other young women, until Prue, Piper and
Phoebe inherited their grandmother's home in San
Francisco. After moving into the large old house,
they discover strange artifacts in the attic, along
with journals, which assert that they are
descended from a long line of good witches. One
stormy night, Phoebe playfully re-enacts an ancient
ritual to confer upon the sisters their magic
powers. Of course, the sisters do not really believe
this. But when seemingly impossible things start
happening to them, they come to realize that the
journals are true, and that each of them, like it or
not, now possesses a special power. Prue has the
ability to move objects with her mind; Piper can
stop time; and Phobe can see glimpses of the
future.
While these powers often come in handy, they also
have their drawbacks. The sisters' enchanted
status attracts the attention of evil warlocks who
seek to destroy them. And their inexperience at
controlling their powers create precarious situations
with friends, dates and co-workers. Whatever
happens, one thing that Prue, Piper and Phoebe
know for sure: their lives from now on will be a lot
more exciting than they ever dreamed!

protectors of the innocent and warns of dark forces that will take the form of everyday people. These new enemies will stop at
nothing to possess their powers, including murder. The sisters' daily struggles will never be the same when they start to grapple
with their newfound identity amidst the darker world of the occult. The enchanting Halliwell sisters must learn to come together
and use their powers wisely. For when they don't, it's not just their own lives that are at stake.
